WG Vrox
Just finished painting 1850 points in about 3 months to have it done for a GT on 1/16/09. It is sad to say that I have close to 200 hours of hobby time from start to finish on this project. luckly I am not working now so had the time, but I must say props to all those that have put this kind of time and money into such a hobby. But before anyone sets any expecations on the outcomeof this fine event, let me tell you if I finish in the top 50% I will be one happy Wolf Lord. Mostly I needed the motivation factor it offered and hey I got a fully painted army. It might help me if everyone gives me their secret winning tips. I will keep them secret I promise. So throw up a howl for luck for me eh. I plan to have some updated information pictures and what not posted soon. So stay tuned. magnusthetraitor
I assume you're heading up to Conquest NW for the GT there. I don't have 1850 pts of Space Wolves finished yet, so I'm bringing my Orks. Big kudos on finishing a project of that magnitude in that short a time. Thats quite an undertaking! For Russ! Wolf89
Just letting some stuff dry on my display board and will get some pictures up, in the mean time since I have never been to a GT, what should I bring? Well first of all some good ale, a lot of patience, and the power to restrain from punching people in the face. Second, is a good attitude, always make the game fun for both players, make conversation, have a big smile, play the player not the army. Grey Mage
I also second the motion to bring food and drink with you. Non alchoholic, so as to not offend the BA players sensibilities though. Be ready for fun, and dont let any crack-brains knock it out of you. Remember, your fun directly influences their score.... so dont take out your vengeance on their heads but on their placings. WG Vrox
play the player not the army Smiles, having fun and being a good sport come easy. And thats all I got since I do not have much experience playing high caliber lists, special characters and even some armies types I have not played against at all. I will have to use the "wow that is a nice list" line and hope they tell me about it with a little diggin. Grey Mage
Interesting, is there a tactical reasoning behind the smaller chassis' or are they what you happened to get ahold of? Or did you just like how the older models looked? And yeah... I love the paint jobs, really cool how they come together and all.... but whats with the d12's????
