Barial
Hey, I have been collecting 40k for a while now and lately I have become more involved in the wargaming side of it. I was just wondering about the Heavy Weapons rule for infantry, I know its Move or Shoot but I was having a discussion with some friends who play 40k about Termies and do they appply to it, there were some mixed answers like "they can", "they cant" and "I'm not too sure myself!" the same about attack bikes aswell so what do ye think about this? Marshal Rohr
Under C:SM all Terminator have the Relentless Special Rule, meaning that they may move and fire heavy weapons. This is due to the inbuilt stabilizing systems in the Terminator armor itself. if you are using Codex Dark Angels, Blood Angels, or Black Templars then they all have sections describing the cans and can't of Terminator Armor. Barial
Thanks for that :P we were looking at the DA codex at the time and were a bit dumbfounded when looking at the special rules, not seeing that special rule there (not like i knew its proper name anyeay! xD) any ideas about the attack bikes tho? that took over most of the discussion, seeing thats how it started off while two lads were having a game DA v Tau Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157514-question/#findComment-1842711 Share on other sites
Marshal Rohr
Yeh, I believe that in the wargear section it gives the description, not the unit entry itself. Check out the DA forum for some directly applicable FAQ's such as the attack bike question. There is also a link in that forum to the GW FAQ. The DA Errata and FAQ was our first detour and there was nothing of the likes in there at all, had no luck in the DA section either Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157514-question/#findComment-1842718 Share on other sites

Legatus
Bikes can move and fire any kind of weapon as per their basic rules, which are described in the rulebook on page 53. WarpSpawn
Bikes are relentless. Attack bikes are bikes. So yes, they get to fire their heavies if they move, as well as firing their bolters up to 24" as if stationary. As long as it counts as a bike, it should not matter which codex it is in.
