Sköll Khan
I'm planning on getting back into the modelling side of things after a long romp away from the Fang. I intend to create a lone/semi-renegade/13th off-shoot company. Got some fluff ideas brewing... ((loyalist 13th Company off-shoot, crusading north of Segmentum Obscurus, Ghoul stars, , took aspirants of a feral world where they worshipped a Russ-like figure who fell from the sky and was said to live in the inhospitable mountains of the world... with chaotic consequences... I'll post a thread when I've pulled everything together)) Wanted to really give the Wolf Lord some character, been windows shopping and thrown together a plan for possible miniature, you'll have to use your imagination as to implementation of the green stuff. Any feed back or suggestions on other parts that could improve the figure would be appreciated. Personally I'm not a fan of the left terminator honours shoulder pad, and unsure about the axe... I love a good chain axe though. :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/ Share on other sites
Dark Bjoern
So far it looks good. I´ll guess he would look amazing. Can i have a detailed pic of his left Stormbolter arm? What´re those round things? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/#findComment-1846704 Share on other sites
Sköll Khan
Can i have a detailed pic of his left Stormbolter arm? What´re those round things? As with a fair amount of the model it's from Forge World's Lord Zhufor miniature: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/wezhu.htm Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/#findComment-1846705 Share on other sites

Sköll Khan
I'm kind of open as to suggestions on the left arm too and armaments as long as he's wielding at least one chain axe. Would running a Wolf Lord with twin Chain axes be a waste?, (worked for Angron :( )... I mean a power weapon or maybe something with a little range might be better in one hand, but I rolled with a Khornite army at the start of 3rd ED, (before I quit the table top) and I acquired something of a distaste for guns, and a love of noisy unwieldy close combat weapons. ;) Blood for Russ, Skulls for Ale Mugs  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/#findComment-1846711 Share on other sites
Growler67
Curious about the right shoulder pad bit and where you got it. I likes it VERY much  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/#findComment-1846756 Share on other sites

Sköll Khan
shoulder pads are the FW terminator upgrades. You can get them from forge world but I've sent you a PM with the site I found where you can buy shoulder pads individually. Beef
I think it looks fine, would look better assembled, maybe with blu tack so we can see what it looks like and give better suggestions Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/#findComment-1846838 Share on other sites
Sköll Khan
I think it looks fine, would look better assembled, maybe with blu tack so we can see what it looks like and give better suggestions I don't own any of it... I was just shopping about, working out what's best before I order the parts. Scy
I used Zufors legs and the other FW Space wolf body with the head to make my Runepriest, working with resin is by far the easiest material to do conversions with. Combat_Vet
Looking at the bits, it could be an awesome mini. Keep the faith Brother, 1/2 the people told me to get rid of a frost axe. It's about the only thing on my mini I refused to change!!! Better days, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157796-wolf-lord-project/#findComment-1846928 Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Go with the axe. I find it takes two chainswords to make the blade look just right though, as a heads up. Vash113
Looks pretty sweet actually, a clever idea using parts from the Lord Zhufor model, it is an awesome mini and should make for a brutal and cool looking Wolf Lord. I'd also say stick with the Frost Axe and Storm Bolter, it's a fine combo.
