Personally I think the Vet Sgt "Far'Rok" is brilliant, great pose. One thing I might do is give the final highlight, the bright green, a light wash of Thraka Green Wash. (Might have to do with the fact that Sallies value artisanship and such, so Salamander players do so too? I dunno...) In any case, great paint job. He'Stan looks pretty awesome as well as Vel'cona. The flames are simple. First two thin layers of Blood Red. Next two thin layers of Fiery Orange so that a small fringe from the red is visible. Last step is to add two layers of Sunburst Yellow. Again let a small fringe of the Orange be visible. I was inspired by the Salamander LR Crusader in Imperial Armour Vol.2 from FW. Now i´m waiting to get my ordered Ork bits so that i can go ahead with the bases. I plan to make the bases look like the ruins of Hive City Inferno. The only thing I noticed is that the eyes seem a little dull, I do't know if that was what you were trying to convey, however I do think maybe a highlight would do them nicely.
