Mr.(Space)Marine
Hey all. Just before I remembered that I painted this Iron Warriors termie lord for a painting comp (which I tied first) so I thought I might put some pics up on here. When I grabbed the model, i went to put it down on my makeshift "mini studio", but sadly, i heard a little *snap*, and looked down and the little skull on the Lord's gun had snapped off! You're not missing out on much, but there was a skull there, dangling on a little bit of ropey stuff. I converted this guy a bit. I didn't want the combi-melta arm, but I did want to have a gun with a chainsaw attached to it (because thats awesome) so I cut off the chainsaw, cut the huge bayonet off, and replaced it with the chainsaw. So now its a chainsaw gun, Gears of War style (but they so copied 40k, and you know it). Anyway, here are four pics from different angles of my Iron Warriors Terminator Lord. I hope you like it! http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m471/imperialfist4/pics002.jpg http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m471/imperialfist4/pics001.jpg http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m471/imperialfist4/pics003.jpg http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m471/imperialfist4/pics004.jpg C & C welcome. barek
I like it but would remove the space marine helmet. It distracts mightily from the lord's own head. In the second picture it seems that the lord's head floats above his body. To be brutally honest: I'd remove all the spikes. Gives your model a meaner profile. MRCHAOS
Ummmm I think you need to turn the chainsaw blade the other way round! Then it will look much better. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157841-iron-warriors-terminator-lord/#findComment-1847513 Share on other sites
Sons of Horus
i agree the chainsword blade should be facing down for effective hacking. it looks great anyway. Thanks for poiting that out. Orignally I wasn't going to have any spikes but he seemed a little short for a Chaos Lord, so I added them. Ummmm I think you need to turn the chainsaw blade the other way round! Then it will look much better. D'oh I never noticed that either! Not one person that has seen this has said that! It didn't even occur to me....once again the stupidity of myself continues to achieve all new never before seen levels. I don't fancy ripping it apart even more, but I guess I will have to one day... Anyhow thankyou for your replies. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157841-iron-warriors-terminator-lord/#findComment-1848631 Share on other sites
Terminatorinhell
actually leave it , the chainsword can pull in the enemy and he can unload a few shots inside them then do an upswing and rip them to shreds!
