Blindhammer
That looks really good, I'd never considered blue on sisters armour before but it actually works really well. Which colours did you use on the blue? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157865-sisters-colour-scheme/#findComment-1847532 Share on other sites

Alys Dwr
Not only are the colours wondeful but the execution aint too shabby. The armour colour is great, it reflects the relative purity of the Ultramarines in female form. Lone Scout
Thank you, this is scheme number 11 I think. The blue is...base coat of Mordian Blue...then 2 washes first Asurmen blue then badab black then a highlight of enchanted blue. Alys Dwr
don't get me wrong as i aware it is not an Ultramarine. I was commenting on how sisters are devout followers of the emperor (more so than most) in relation to the image of the Ultramarines as the best* of the Astartes. * - not looking for fights here as it is obvious the Dark Angels are the best  Lone Scout, you say this is scheme 11, were the others similar or has it changed much as you've progressed? bluewolf74727
I could say that the Space Wolves are best but i know for a fact that none of the chapters are the best they are all good. Anyway hope that scheme is the one you choose to do an army in as i would love to see the on a tank (Oh and the Blue Wolves are the best marine chapter) BlueWolf74727 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157865-sisters-colour-scheme/#findComment-1847572 Share on other sites

Lone Scout
Thanks for the encouragement ;) Alys Dwr.. I tryed white armour with various coloured cloth but I wasn't happy with the white armour. Then I tryed red armour but my marines are red and for me it just didn't work. Next I tryed silver armour with various cloth colours but the silver seemed dull and the cloth lost it's detail, so I thought I'd try a (looks left & right....no ][ ...)....a high elf colour scheme. I'm happy with the colours so now I need to do a full squad and see how they look on the table at gaming distance. sgtNACHO
i did immediatly think of high elves when i saw it, although obviously it still is awesome (notices an Inquisitor) "Of course your Sororitas are just slapping those elf panzies in the face!" MEanBOb
Heh, first thing I though of was Medieval Total War French faction colors (especially with the fleur-de-lis all over the armor), WHICH ARE AWESOME. Very nicely painted mini as well. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157865-sisters-colour-scheme/#findComment-1847725 Share on other sites

Melissia
Awesome job. The white robes looks like a light grey color instead fo whites, though, unless you intended it to be light grey? Neves
Heh, first thing I though of was Medieval Total War French faction colors (especially with the fleur-de-lis all over the armor), Lol or just the French king's colours in general ^^ But yeah, had the same idea and it does make them look great! I've always like the fleur-de-lis sign and when suited with the matching colours it's even better! Nice job!
