Horus Heresy Characters (Part 1 of 2)

Don't know why so many people want the Word Bearer's champions to die. I mean, they are the heroes that might just have set a series of events that will save humanity from the evil false emperor, and into the loving hands of Holy Gods of the Warp.

ooooooo how brave attacking a disabled emperor who cant defend himself, bet your that ancestor of kor pheron ive been looking for. well no one believes your traitorous propaganda here, and the only holy gods of the warp i know are the ones ive shot with my psycannon.

DIE HERETIC

oh come on thats a bit flimsy aint it  . the way i see it the lion had a choice to make let his legion fall to chaos or save them from chaos, in a way the dark angels are the exact opposite of the traitor legions. most traitor primarchs destroyed the loyalist elements from there legion which in turn ment they fell further to chaos, the lion on the other hand destroyed the chaos elements of his legion before they had a chance to turn the rest.

so in reality the lion and the dark angels are the best of the loyalist legions, yes they fell out with half there legion after heresy, and ended up kicking the poo out of them and in doing so destroyed there planet (which was corrupt with chaos anyway so no loss there.) and fair enough we keep secrets from the inquistion and everyone else but so do a few other loyalist chapters, which i think makes the dark angels stronger than most of those upstart later ultrasmurf foundings.

secretive yes, depressed maybe, confused never.

For the Emperor, For the Lion!

Any of the Traitors Champions... Come on, i can´t nearly think of any of them not being horribly killed...:

Eidolon: Jerk, Stupid, Incompeten...

Lucius: Annoyingly arrogant

Abaddon: Angry All The Time man... hell he must be Khorne Champion...

Erebus and Kor Phaeron: Traitors all the time. But at least they were always traintors...

The worst part was reading the books, seeing how sonuva... well, how "bad persons" they were, and knowint that they were still alive on this age... Damm...

Maybe if we pray a lot they wrote a book in actual age when all this people met, someone forget the gas open and they all die in an explosion because of Erebus´Dark Crozius flames....

Seriously though, if you could see the future during the Heresy which side would you choose? Consider how things turn out. If you're a good guy you're long dead, or else entombed in a dreadnought...

Or, as a traitor (presuming you survive and don't have your soul consumed to be tormented for all eternity) consider the bonuses

- Immortality

- Cool accessories (tentacles, horns, extra eyes etc)

- Having your own world (which sometimes you can even make as you want, thanks to the laws of physics being option in the EoT)

- Having your own army, masses of slaves (inc. slaaneshi slave girls)

- You could sit on a giant throne made of skulls, in the middle of a massive castle built just for you, contemplating with your chin resting on your gauntleted fist.

- having your own fleet of ships to go 'on tour'

- slaaneshi slave girls

I know which side I would choose! :D

So many traitors, so little ammunition.

As tempting as it sounds to be turn traitor, id prefer to stay a loyal member of the imperium. chaos gods are fickle creatures and it only takes you to fail really badly, and before you know it your a chaos spawn squirming around for scraps as you former comrades chain you in the back yard. never heard of the emperor bob turning anyone inside out, or in to a hideous pile of flesh for failing

Well, when you have your Battle-Brothers, Ale and glory to be had in the field of battle, there's very little the Chaos Gods can offer. :)

I'll drink to that!!

wow a dark angel agreeing with a space wolf. what ever next?

My version of the last hours of Kor pheron and erebus:

Kor Pheron admits he loves erebus then shooting him in the head, then commiting suicide with a note reading "dear Big E, sorry i tried to destroy everything, i thought it would be fun. Get well soon and no hard feelings Kor Pheron and his Bum Boy erebus.

Now that would be a happy ending even the traitors would cheer :P

never heard of the emperor bob turning anyone inside out, or in to a hideous pile of flesh for failing

Do you doubt the power of the Inquisition?

The difference with the Chaos Gods is that you survive the punishment. Condemned to live, as it were.

Only 50% of the time, and even then you aint really living having lost your mind and anything remotely human. no id rather have control of all my bodily functions thanks all the same.

Oh and Terrible Trygon:Your an Inquistor hmmmmm, let me show you where we keep the library <pushes inquistor down a deep hole>. Never doubt the power of a Dark Angel ha
