Gabriel the Unforgiven
not long started playing warhammer and startin to pick it up play with my buddy a lot who has a chaos army and im just wonderin. am i right to assume that his chaos space marines dont automatically pass morale checks to regroup and can be caught up in a sweeping advance as the dont have they shall know no fear special rule and do khorne berzerkers axes count as a heavy close combat weapon that only allow an armour save roll on 4+ cause dont see anythin bout it in chaos codex or new 5th ed rules but there was a tiny paragraph in 4th ed rules Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/157943-fighting-chaos/ Share on other sites
Abaddonshand
#1. That's right, chaos marines no longer have faith in the emperor, so they can be cut down when they break and run. #2. Heavy close combat weapons don't exist anymore (yes, the orks players were really, really annoyed at that one ;) ), so if he tries to tell you otherwise he either doesn't know his own army rules/ basic game rules, or is cheating. Of course, if you both agreed to it, you could let him use the heavy CCWs as a house rule, but officially, they've went the way of the dinosaur. Brother Nihm
so if he tries to tell you otherwise he either doesn't know his own army rules/ basic game rules, or is cheating.Or is (erroneously) using an outdated Codex.
