sword brethren

Here's the latest image of my current project.

It's my personal take on the Daemon Primarch, Perturabo of the Iron Warriors.

You win

I wouldn't say that, just because I created something big doesn't mean I win, I've seen some great conversions here, the Jetbikes are fantastic, I would have never known where to begin if it were me, the Space Wolves Land Raider is amazing, such detail, and the Iron Father is another brilliant example of conversion skills. the Space Marine Land Speeder Buggy caught my eye as well.

plus I've also seen some really great paint jobs here too, I would have to say the the SW Land Raider as an example, I may have created something big and imposing, but it's what we each create, it's all down to individual tastes and ideas. So I'm with you on this "Sword Brethren" I too would like to see what else is waiting to appear, after all, there might be something there even I will find more intruiging than my own work, (I wouldn't call my work amazing, it's more intriguing), I like to create interest and intrigue rather than wow people, although that is rather nice, as it means people like what I do.

Any way, am definitely watching this thread, I'm really liking what I've seen so far, I hope to see more.

Well, a few weeks back I bought a couple of Wolf Guard intending them to use them in my Honour Guard, BUUUT, they eventually found there way into a Jump-pack-less Vanguard Squad. But I had no models, so I made some out of my Old Chapter Master and his Command Squad (From 4th ed by the way)

It's a squad full of Relic Blades, expensive but IMO well worth it

Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield (My Favorite conversion to date, even though it was only a head/hand swap)

Whole Squad (Terrible photo)

As you can see they obviously need painting, now I just need a Drop Pod ;P

Here're a few I'd like to contribute.

This is a REALLY old mini. This was my Epistolary Librarian back in the days where he could have a jump pack, iron halo, and veil of time haha. I used the bottom half of the jump pack chaplain for him. The front torso is from the iron hands box, and his force weapon is a grey knight stern's sword.

This is my Imperial Fists Captain. I based this one off of Sicarius. Head swap, added Lysander's shield, threw in the Company Champion's sword and helmet. Backpack is from the SM captain sprue.

Librarian for my Imperial Fists based off of Cassius. Again, head swap, psychic hood from a shoulder pad, book-banner is from the Terminator Librarian's banner pole. His force weapon is made from the arm/shaft of the command squad banner arm and two power axes from the assault marine sprue. Left arm is the plastic missile launcher arm with his fingers separated and repositioned.

I'm glad you like it. For the back jet I simply glued some pieces of plastic card on a plastic tube.
