Brother Fortis
I like making my own terrain, like lots of people. But when I do make terrain, I usually use my bros’ supplies. Since I'm doing more and more though, I would like to get my own terrain supplies instead of leeching off of him. What would you all suggest getting for big variety of terrain supplies? Other than static-grass, flock, resin, and Styrofoam of course. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158182-terrain-q/ Share on other sites
Hubernator
Wood. MDF or something of that ilk. Use that for basing. Papier Mache perhaps for modelling some parts. That's what I'm doing anyway :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158182-terrain-q/#findComment-1851242 Share on other sites
wokkers
as hubenator says. you need wood (no sniggering please). MDF is your best bet. and you'll need a jigsaw or a coping saw to cut your shapes. go to the beach and get a bucket of sand. detritus from the backyard - sticks, rocks etc. slate offcuts from the local tile place - easy tp break up and they look good. and finally, get some cork tiles. great for many, many, many applications :( of course booze and crisps are optional ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158182-terrain-q/#findComment-1851300 Share on other sites
