Shortsonfire79
Wow! That is so much easier than sculpting. You're right! Now..what is that command squad, and why have I never seen them before? Maligoare
I had been thinking of something like that myself; it's good to see that it will work. Nicely done! I think the spare Exarch plume would work best though. Shortson fire, that looks like the standard command squad to me, with a Chaplain hiding in the background... paulson games
That looks nice, simple conversion but effective great for ultra marines. Warlord games puts out plastic romans with all sorts of head crests, sheild and sword bits that can be used for a simular efect, 30 legionaries for $30 so it's probably a cheaper option to GW bits. They also make praetorians and roman elite units which have some great detail for conversion pieces. They also make greta for warhammer fantasy conversions. http://shop.warlordgames.co.uk/28mm-imperial-romans-9-c.asp Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158207-modelling-roman-crest-helms/#findComment-1852577 Share on other sites
Ferrus Manus
In regards to the PM I sent you, before submitting it (if you intend to) could you possibly elaborate on the cropping of the Plume. It could something as simple as a copy of the first image with red lines to show cut positions or anything more complex. Griffsnog
For those into pre-heresy dont forget to use the appropriate MK/Crusade helmets. If you know how to resin cast your even better off, not that I advocate potential copywrite infringment. shorty
Just to clear this up they aren't Eldar Guardian Helms they are Dire Avenger helms Just thought I'd say this before someone goes and buys the wrong set Wait a second...are you sure ? Because the first pic doesnt fit with the other helmet crests...see the round dots on the crest they use for the marine...this must be a normal dire avenger crest because if you look at the above crest he doesnt have the dots so they didnt use his crest to create the marine crests...
