danny-d-b
hi guys 1st post I've been reading through the rulebook and been thinking about ramming After trying to work out how much dammage you could do with a land rander (max being a St 9 hit, 4(for armour)+ 1 for being a tank+ 4 for movement), I went on to land speaders, and found they can do a strenth 8 (all on movement) and thinking running the following tactic Get a land speader storm- drop of scouts in nice bit of cover- go tank ramming sounds like a very cheap way of killing tanks- though you do run the risk of killing your speader- and you can hit tau and eldar tanks just as well! Plus I've heard there is a ravenwing landspeader that is appartly AV14, if thats fast too, that would work out as giving a strenth 12 hit! Koremu
Can't go over S 10 And ramming for the given values requires perfect positioning. EDIT: and what StormTAG said :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158257-land-speeder-ramming/#findComment-1852146 Share on other sites
StormTAG
Ramming is a special kind of tank shock, and thus, you need to be a tank to do it. Speeders are not tanks and therefore cannot ram. Sorry. =\ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158257-land-speeder-ramming/#findComment-1852178 Share on other sites
