Ok my current army consists the contents of AoBR and a razorback/rhino.

After getting christmas money and going into games workshop I ending up getting 2 grey hunter boxes and a blood claw box(I really wanted a battleforce).

So using just those boxes what would be the best set ups I could make?

P.S My next purchases will be more blood claws and a tank.

Hello mate, heres what I would be tempted to do with what you have.

First thing seeing as your going to be footslogging I would make a 15 strong blood claw unit with 3 powerfists. You should have enough to make 10 with bolt pitols + Chainswords, 3 powerfists and a Meltagun if you want to chuck one in. It makes one nasty CC unit that should make a mess of things and can still get around quickly if you run across no mans land.

I would then make a 6 strong Greyhunter Squad with 2 Plasma Pistols and a Meltagun to ride in your Razorback with either Heavybolters or a Lascannon, the choice is yours. I'd then combine the remaining Greyhunter bits + your black reach squad to make two Greyhunter squads. You should have enough Plasma Pistols to put two in each squad and 1 meltagun per squad.

You can use the Wolf Tail bits to "Wolf" up your Black Reach marines and use those Wolf Skull plates to turn your Dread into a Wolfy Venerable Dread. With all your bits you can use the Wolfguard bits to make a HQ choice such as Wolf Lord etc, again the choice is yours.

With that I reckon you will have:-

HQ

Venerable Dread

Wolf Lord?

15 Blood Claws

6 Greyhunter + Razorback

7 Greyhunters

7 Greyhunters

Oh and not forgetting I think you will have 5 Terminators? If that is the case you have 5 Wolfguard Terminators to be putting you on to possibly make your army up to 1500 points. If you have some spare Plasma Pistols you can give those termis a nice little Plasma/bolter conversion with a bit of filing and glue.

I reckon thats a good little starting force you have you can play a few games and then add bits onto the army depending on your play style it gives you some solid Troop choices to build up on.
