Some nice pups you have there. Don't suppose I could be cheeky and ask for a closer pic of that drednaught lurking with intent in the back.

As requested ><

i cant help but notice, are thoes assault squads 9 men plus a wolf guard leader? i didnt belive that could be acomplished with space wolves.

Nope its 9 assault marines with there sgt, as the models shown are not wolf guard battle leaders... For an easier time on my opponents i do not use the space wolf codex i just use the normal marine dex..

;) Wa... wa... why???

Not saying you shouldn't, but what is your reason?

To be fair most of the stuff in the wolves dex is out of date and also its a pain in the ar*e having to explain the rules to every gamer where as they all know the rules from the marine one

Hmmm... Well, I suppose it would be nice to be able to use cheaper jump pack troops, chappys with jump packs and liturgies of battle, and I'd LOVE to be able to field 'ultra' - fluffy wolf scout sergeant Telyah, and the renown tech priest 'Chron!

But I'd miss my fluffy OBEL Wolf scouts, the counter-attack rule (of the + 1 kind for ALL my wolves), crazy Blood Claws, heaps of power weapons and HQ's with lots of attacks.

To each his own I guess, and rule wise it would be easyer, that's for sure.

Edit: And B.T.W.: very nice army!I especially like to see the old wolf scout model.

Well fair enough I suppose, I've never gotten any complaints and honestly the Space Wolves don't have a lot of rules that need a ton of explaining. Blood Claws get +2 attacks on the charge, Grey Hunters have counter-attack, and so on and so forth, it's not too difficult and the Space Wolves codex is so much more fluffy and characterfull.

Anyway nice looking wolves, it's good to see so many old models.

First off, fantastic army and the Land speeder is looking sweet, love all the ammo pouchs ropes etc, makes it look very tactical.

But just one thing, surely the pilot would like to be able to look to his right, might it not be an idea to put a view port in the slab wall, i appreciate it may be there for armour reasons but a pilot needs to see whats where as well
