Load outs on Wolf Guard Leaders

Hey i am curious about a few things:

1. In a fully mechanized wolf army do you all tend to attach WGL's to your grey hunters?

2. if so what do you normaly kit them with?

3. What are your thoughts on WGL's with power weapon, storm shield, and runic charm?

Also is it more fluffy to have WGL's in all your grey hunter squads? i am thinking of making a mech Ragnar wolf clan with all of my blood claws lead by a WGBL and Ragnar himself. Is this very fluffy?

trying to think, i think WGPL are more common in Blood Claw packs then they are in grey hunter packs. the more veteran grey hunters wouldn't need the guidance of a WGPL as much i think. i would think that grey hunters would have a member of thir squad count as the leader and only when it is a very importent mission would some one like a WGPL be thrown in with them. well thats what i think at least.

Fluff wise it would all be about force multipliers in combat, so basically that means where do you feel they would serve the most benefit of winning the battle. I could see the WGBL putting themsleves in the area that would gain them the most glory, I could also see a GH unit who is joined by a WGL rejoicing as they know they will be in the thick of battle and have great tales to bost of in the fangs great hall.

As for your question, is running them with a GH squad the best way? I personally think so. I run mine with SS/TH or SS/PF then give the Power Weapons to the GHs, this nets me more attacks as my GH with PW will usually be armed with Bolt Pistols. I find that most uglies out there that I take on will be at either a higher INT than 5 or will make me strike last anyway such as charging units in cover. I also enjoy killing ICs outright by doubling their T with his attacks. That means they only have to fail 1 invol save and their dead which also equalizes the disadvantage of them having more wounds than me. The SS gives me the edge to survive till INT 1 while TDA is also worth every point if you can take it in the transport assigned to the GH, such as DP or LR. No one wants to through a squads worth of attacks at a HQ that could possibly save against every one of them with RC it is very possible.

WG Vrox.

A fully mech army? Yeah, I tend to go heavy Grey Hunters, which means more likelyhood that a WGBL would be with them.

However, I will say that Ragnar works really well with Grey Hunters because of his abilities, turns them into a nice BC/GH Hybrid.

Eh, With PA I go with a Power Weapon and a Combi-gun. Its a nice round 50pts, and it helps them out in firepower and CC, and leadership. In a footslogger force with spearhead units Ill opt for a TDA equipped WG, often with a powerfist and a combimelta or a stormshield. Lol, Ive got one of each actually just for that. I find that the 2+ save has helped alot... theres more AP 3 weaponry than youd think, and the ability to make people look at their missile launchers and go "aw crap" is priceless.
