Vomikron Noxis
Greetings all, Im stressing over transporting my winged DP(s) around, and was wondering how you all handle it? The rest of my army is packed neatly into a small GW case, but this guy is being a pain! davidren2401
I use a vehicle case. It's great because you can rearange the foam so that each unit or large model has it's own little "pit". Some independent GW stockists carry foam inlays for cases that you can buy without having to splash out fifty quid on a brand new case. Crovan
If you're willing to spend a little, go here and get a custom tray done up for him. I plan on ordering some of this stuff soon to replace the pluck foam in my Sabol case. Stargazer
Maybe magnetise the parts if possible as it would make it much easier for transport Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158524-transporting-large-models/#findComment-1857489 Share on other sites
FishSpit
Its probobly to late now, But i would reccomend making the wings detachable for easier transport. (Or just magnetize them after they snap off). I now do this for all my bits that stick out, I hate Icons snapping off. They can even do a custom top and bottom if the model is bigger than 6". Redbaron997
I always use Sabot foam, and larger sizes so all my infantry models can stand up and take up less room, and my vehicles and MCs can lay down and fit in fine. Razormind
magnetize the bases and make a cool display board. that is how I get my daemons out and about and I have a winged Tzeench Daemon that I dont want to drop :-) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158524-transporting-large-models/#findComment-1858005 Share on other sites
