Brother Argos
Here is a work in progress shot of one of the new Salamanders I am working on for the Librarium Painting challenge. There is still work to be done on Decals, base and weapons so a way to go yet. However on a pleasing note this is the first time I have used one of the Salamander Shoulderpads I made last year, I wanted something similar to the Forgeworld Terminator Salamander shoulderpads so I sculpted this. Hopefully this counts as one of my Work in Progress shots for the LPC. Garou24
Very nice! Well painted and clean. i really like those shoulder pads. You made them yourself? Units with those will really pop and stand out. Brother Argos
@ Garou24 : Here is the shoulderpad when i had finished sculpting it. @ Terminatorinhell : Just because your the boss doesn't mean anything counts, when your in charge its important to lead by example. :D @ Stargazer : I already have the rest of the army ... this is just an additional squad for the LPC Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158531-lpc-salamander-tactical-marine-wip/#findComment-1856699 Share on other sites

Rogue Trader
Nice to see you've returned to the Salamanders, Argos :P I'm not sure I like the black skin/red eyes thing, to be honest, but then I think it's ridiculous example of a retcon, so disliking the realisation of it isn't a great surprise... Should I ask whether your renewed enthusiasm for the Sals means the rhino will get finshed? :P <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158531-lpc-salamander-tactical-marine-wip/#findComment-1858298 Share on other sites
Brother Argos
Rhino ... what rhino would that be <grins> To be honest it depends on my Airbrushing skills being realised, I for some time have wanted to work on GW vehicles with an airbrush, to achieve similar results to some of the work in the Military modelling magazines. With regard to the black skin red eyes, I must admit to liking it personally as an idea. eyescrossed
Wow! Brother Argos, you never told me you were a great painter ;) Seriously people, this is what working hard gets for you. Now maybe I should actually paint a whole squad :tu: And as I said (not very clearly, though) before, great painting ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158531-lpc-salamander-tactical-marine-wip/#findComment-1869670 Share on other sites
