3rd Edition Rules Review

Firsts first. Isn't this a great modelling idea with caustic marks on it and a rusted out hull. All the while it has a good ol' daemon inside it

How I hate the vast removal of rules and this was one of my favorites.

Better than a techmarine and cheaper too and yet more survivable especially if you put it on a LR

Just awesome.

Not legal anymore so we just have to live with it

Feel free to discuss this rule here

It was a fun rule alright, I used to take it on a predator back when I played World Eaters. Nothing funnier then regrowing your twin-linked lascannon then poping an enemy Raider with it the same turn. Mutated Hull was great too, chaos really got the short end of the stick there, losing it in the new codex only to have the loyalists pick it up in the form of a new dread varient. Back in 4th ed and the days of glancing hits sometimes being fatal making your rear armour imune to bolter fire was a real ace in the hole.

That was a costly but cool rule.

Best time I've seen it in action was a Vindicator that could shoot the next turn without hindrance after being disabled the turn before... the face of my opponent who had put so much fire in it just to destroy the demolisher cannon...
