kraegus
take a trip down to the local art shop, buy yourself a small well of ink, find a really old ugly mini that you don't plan on using, and experiment with inks. practise mixing them with paint, watering them down, etc., and start incorporating them into your painting process. It's well worth the time invested, and I guarantee you'll get some cool effects. They really help on defining the edges of your mini keep up the good work :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158897-first-paintjob-ever-dread/page/2/#findComment-1873297 Share on other sites

I AM THE AWESOME
Wow, those are some amazing first paint jobs. I paint at about that quality, and I've been painting for quite a while. You, my friend, have the makings of a fine painter. Another thing I'd like to say is, you seem to be jumping into this pretty quickly. Granted, you're talented enough to make this work really well, but don't feel pressured to learn everything at once. There's many ways to paint a model you know. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/158897-first-paintjob-ever-dread/page/2/#findComment-1945028 Share on other sites
