KfS
It's interesting to see old miniatures integrated in with more recent models. It certainly sets your army apart from the rest! Vash113
Gotta love those old models! That said what is this: http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m359/nu...fs/DSCF0706.jpg The guy in the middle with the robe and sword, is that a conversion or an actual model and if so what's it supposed to be? An early Librarian? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159025-my-old-smurf-army/#findComment-1864335 Share on other sites
Widowmaker
Great Job Nurglephill... makes me want to go finish mine. Very cool army and lovely paint jobs. Is the painting new... or have you painted to this level for a while? Do you have any of the old tanks, or is it just the later incarnations? And are we gonna see any more? Cheers Widowmaker Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159025-my-old-smurf-army/#findComment-1864386 Share on other sites

Brother SRM
I think I'm in love ;) RT and 2nd ed models are some of my favorites - most of my Crimson Fists are from those eras. Great figs and paintjobs too. Very clean and very neat; especially given the figures you're painting. My only question is what is this weapon is: http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m359/nurglephill/bluesmurfs/DSCF0710.jpg It looks like a blunderbuss with a plume near the grip. I'd guess a bolter for in-game purposes, but I'm still curious. Brother Pariah
Yeah, that's a bolter. That mini was released in 1985, two years before the first edition of Warhammer 40,000, so a lot of the details hadn't been nailed down yet. Shaun Carlin
the White on the medic is insanly good its like marble or porslen i think that hows its spelt.. nurglephill
thanks, the white was simple if a lil time consuming. just bleach bone base, watered down skull white and you go oer it time and again until you get the finish you want. took a while but for a HQ model it was worth it i think Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159025-my-old-smurf-army/#findComment-1868816 Share on other sites
Joyous_Oblivion
the White on the medic is insanly good its like marble or porslen i think that hows its spelt.. It does look very good!!
