Sir Clausel
Well finally he is finished. Snozz
Inspiring. The conversion is fantastic. The painting is very good too. Really one of the best models I've seen in a long time. Brother Vespasian
Awesome. I don't like the sideways crest though, I prefer the forward crest (just a preference) but other than that awesome Brother Vespasian Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159165-captain-idaeus-of-the-ultramarines-4th-company/#findComment-1865276 Share on other sites

Brother Captain Cassius
He looks stellar brother, and I hate the Ultra's. AngryJohnny
Wow. That looks very nice. Well done. I was wondering if you could tell us were the backpack is from as well as the torso. Also did you use GS on the legs to give it the ridges? Tyrannicide
It is a very nice miniature, something you should be proud of. I really like the details you've added. My favorite part of the model is your inclusion of Captain Idaeus' 'Iron Gauntlet', it looks ace. Sir Clausel
Snozz and Terminatorinhell: Thanks a lot for the kind words! Especially you Termie :D Apocalyse and Barek: In the super sized pics they are very easy to spot but not here. But acually there is one very big blooper here(which is fixed after these shots) I looked at it and just went "DOH!!". The freehand on the shoulderpad. The gaulnet holding the U should be right handed NOT left handed! That was stupid. AngryJohnny: The backpack is converted. Top part is a normal backpack with some GSed extra armor(see the WIP thread for were the GS is) and the bottom part is a part of an old backpack. The torso is from the BT sprue with the BT cross removed and a GSed neck-thingy. And yes I GSed the ridges(again see the WIP thread for it;))(There should be a link in the first post). Potato: That was the most important part of the conversion! I kept looking at the banner and I knew that gaulnet was there for a reason! I just didnt knew if it should be a powerfist or some kind of bionic hand. All: Thanks a lot for the replies and kind words. Much appreciated! Ferrus Manus
This is excellent mate, well done. Since this is pre-Ventris era, are you going to convert Ventris as a Veteran Sergeant? Sir Clausel
Ferrus: Im going to make a power sword weilding Veteran Sergeant which I will call Ventris. But I aint going to do that much converting about him. He is going to be a converted AOBR Sergeant. He would have to have a chain sword because it power sword was a gift from Idaeus before he went on his suicide mission.
