Combat_Vet
Greets, I'm working on my new army. I am reading way too much into the background for them  So I am building 10-15 Wolf Guard, for bodyguard and for pack leaders. They will be a mix of heresy and modern armor types. However I also want to have at least two of them be Terran born. Would they be marked differently? The reason I ask is that the character in the deathguard book wore an imperial eagle as a symbol of his terran birth (or at least I think he did), would a wolf do this as well? Thanks and sorry to ask so many questions. Better days, Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159286-space-wolf-ideasterran-wolves/ Share on other sites
Vash113
No Garro wore an Aquila breatplate as an honor from the Emperor if I recall correctly. It had to do with his special rank and accomplishments than his Terran birth and he was the only one allowed to wear the aquila outside the Emperor's Children Legion. I think the Terrans would have different markings but not the primary stuff. Instead of runes and Fenresian symbols dotting their armor their markings would probably be campaign badges or knightly heraldry throw backs to their battles before finding Russ, while their primary markings on the shoulder pads would be those of pack and company as usual and they'd probably sport more civilised hairdoes and beards than the Fenresian Wolves, sort of like Torin form the SW books I'd think. Combat_Vet
Greets, 1) I attempted to build a TH for my newest Wolf Guard. I have decided that at this time the project is beyond my abilities. So, to cover up my shortcomings (LOL), I thought about using a mace head instead. Isn't the Power Maul older than the TH? 2) I know this is going to be stupid. If I add a WG to my scouts, does he have scout armor? Or should I model him up with full PA? Thanks in advance. Technically I suppose so, doesn't really matter as long as your happy with it. 2) I know this is going to be stupid. If I add a WG to my scouts, does he have scout armor? Or should I model him up with full PA? Wolf Guard are equipped with PA regardless of what pack they're assigned too, so a Scout Pack Leader does indeed wear Power Armor and can OBEL/Infiltrate/whatever with the scouts. In fact until it was fixed by a FAQ I think you could have a Wolf Guard Pack Leader in Terminator Armor leading a scout pack, now that was funky. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159286-space-wolf-ideasterran-wolves/#findComment-1867551 Share on other sites
