LS TML

Guy I played the other night pulled a interesting RAW on me. I am sure it's been mentioned before however moving fast in a LS with a TML and firing both it and the HB. Of course he had to fire it as a frag but still a nice tactic to add a little value to an expensive unit. Thought I would share it for any intersted wolf brothers.

I actually orderd the TML bit's for my speeders (I have 10 of them) and have done two conversions already. I find that they work very well as multi-purpose long range light to medium infantry killers and also as light to medium armor killers. So far they have done well as a mobile devistator squad. (I usually run one or two of them).

The abiltiy to frag or crack missile launch and also to fire all weapons after moving 12" is a good replacement for the AC/HB LS versions.

My two cents...

Yea this was talked about when the first rumors came out about CML's being Heavy 2 as well as Typhoons... but for the points I don't care for it, as well as what I'm getting (as least for us wolves). The only thing that catches my fancy is 2 shots at 48" and S8... Wolves lack not in infantry killing ability, but in tank killing ability at the 12"+ range, that we all can agree on, however for those points you could get a predator for cheaper, and for slightly more points you get a vindicator (which we all know is the only tank a wolf lord needs :D , I just say that my lord's men have been drinking so they can't trust their normal BS4, but rather just shoot and hope they hit something ;) )

In the end for normal marines it's not bad, but for wolves, we have much better options.
