Iron Warriors help

Yeah, so if you read the description, I was wondering if i should take daemons in my IW army to summon from the warp.

I always saw IW as basically spacemarines just turned to chaos, like, not many mutations or possesed just infantry and tanks. So 1, i was wondering if I should take daemons and 2, if i do, are they worth it.

I'd say they can take them, but not as a main focus for their army.

Iron Warriors have a very pragmatic view of Chaos, they understand it uses them and they use it so if they thought some daemon cannon fodder would help them take a fortress or repel an attack, then they'd drop them in for fun.

They're not going to rely on them like they do their own troops, after all Chaos is a fickle ally.

I completely agree with the gentleman who suggested flayed ones. They look cool, they are GW models and with the new dex, you can make what ever fluff you want! I hate to go with a story line that limits your selections. I'd always rather have access to everything and make up a story as to why they have access to that.
I think if it's Iron Warriors, and you're using beserkers, what better than to use some Juggernauts of Khorne, part machine, part daemon, even if you use them for your fast attack option instead of bikes for your marines, paint them up in IW colours. keep the Daemon riders for other projects.

While Iron Warriors do not really use the Daemonic in the same way as say, the Word Bearers, they will use daemons to fuel any machines they've created. If I remember the IA article about the Iron Warriors correctly, while Iron Warriors don't allow themselves to be possessed by Daemons, they amputate any limbs which mutate through possession, they will replace the limb with bionics.

Basically, go with techno-organic daemons, Flayed Ones are a pretty good choice, and if you want to use possessed, convert a unit that has a lot of bionics.

My two cent.
