sinzah
Okay, so i recently decided to start painting GW models again, for the first time since I was 13 xD So I went out and bought a 40k Space Marine Battleforce box and got cracking. Here are the first 5 models :P The pics could be better but I'm still getting the hang of the settings on my new camera. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h134/simotweed/40k/DSC00081copy.jpg http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h134/simotweed/40k/DSC00082.jpg http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h134/simotweed/40k/DSC00072.jpg http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h134/simotweed/40k/DSC00094.jpg just realised i missed a bit on this one! http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h134/simotweed/40k/DSC00095.jpg Let me know what you think! Cedric
Nice work, especially the bases! I spot a purity seal in need of some paint, though. =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159414-back-after-7-years/#findComment-1868873 Share on other sites

Belfast
good work. how exactly did you get your orange on there? I'm trying to do some of the pyre and i'm going base coat black, then macharius solar orange foundation with a layer of blazing orange on top. are you highlighting with a 50-50 mix of blazing orange and sunburst yellow or is that white in that mix? wienas
I like the flames on the missile launcher. It's like a throwback to the old 2nd Ed. Devastators. To add a little depth to the models, you want to try a brown wash (Gryphonne Sepia?). Other than that, the models look really good! Welcome back to the hobby.
