Hey all I was liking the idea of Word Bearers and color but with the whole Idea of summoning, what kinda Daemons should I use for Chaos Undivided? Should I use Bloodletters, The tzentch ones, Daemonites, or Plauge? I have no idea what kind to use. any help or give Ideas for conversion or whatever.

Thanks

Or go with something totally different, especially because they're considered generic anyway.

If you've read the Dark Apostle/Dark Disciple series, you'll notice that those Word Bearers seem to use some kind of harpy daemon which is probably equivalent to a Fury.

The point is you could get away with using almost anything. Look to the Fantasy range for some ideas, I've seen Spiders, Wolves/Dogs, Beastmen, Lizards all be used this way.

Probably one of the coolest is the Wood Elf Dryads, just paint them up daemonically.

Use your imagination with the lesser daemons.

I've seen people use Vampire Counts Dire Wolves for Lesser Daemons, Necrons Warriors for Iron Warriors armies.

The point is, Chaos Undivided have carte blanche when it comes to using converting daemons. Look through the ranges and use what ever catches your eye.

I actually use the Fantasy Chaos Warriors. Keep them dark (i.e. black, with a light drybrushing of grey) with some blood red on bades and shield details, and they do look superb.

What do I explain them as, I don't! Some of the first warriors of chaos who have had their souls bartered for strength and power, is the answer I would give if pushed.

To be perfectly honest, I just had them in the bitz box and decided to put them together, without too much thought :)

The short answer is all of them. It depends on the situation but in game terms they represent short term summons rather than full manifestations.

Go with what ever suits your army. I'm currently toying with the idea of using Bloodletters as lesser deamons and the Herald on a juggeranught for a greater summon.

As Araraxe said you have carte blanche when it comes to your models. You could even have your daemons possess the bodies of the fallen?

Hope that helped
