This guy is my scratch built inquisitor, i wanted someone who looked more subtle then some of the inquisitor lords, in my mind your just as likely to find him doing the dirty work like beating the information from scum in bars as he is commanding borrowed troops. So less showy then the GW models.

And then ofcourse this guy, he needs no introduction but i thought the model was one of the best produced so i had to have him and paint him. Allongside Grey knights Demon Hunters get all the best models.

His armour is white, though in the pics it looks silver.

booo, just a day or so shy of being to post up my newest WH Inquisitor creation... description wise lets just say, he rides a mechanical horse with 2 plas pistols (MC). :wallbash: I'll post a WIP picof him later tonight...

@Jester: What model/pieces did you use for the first inquisitor with the wolf, or isit all custome greenstuff? I'm trying to work out an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor for a possble DW project, and I definitly agree that he needs to be more "business" and less"showy"....

=EBC=

I have several Inquisitor models ranging from the GW standards (2 Coteaz, INQ with Bolter, Throne, Solomon Lok - FW) as well as some mainly built from SM models such as a Terminator Scriptor with changed weapon and backpack or one taken from many different SM pieces. Below are some pictures.

Though Inquisitors are not extremely useful in most games, they are what made me play DH and WH - strong individual characters that stand out. That is why I never got enough of them or get tired building, collecting and painting them. I am a little disappointed with the look of the WH Inquisitors though and would love GW to bring out many more models of characters that are known from books or other fluff, especially WH Tyrus and alike!

it was actually a britonian knight body and arm with a dark elday head (tho i only chose it cuz it was small enough to fit the body. The legs were also from the bretonian knights but heavily converted and green stuffed... the trench coat was all green stuff as was the hood. The wolf was obviously a direwolf from the undead range though that was converted also.

got a few of them to share

wip shots :D

It's still WIP.... I just built him last night! It's hard to read without paint, but it still needs GS work and some type of CC weapon for him. Also working on fluff at the moment. That said, here's my WH Inquisitor mounted on an Empire Engeneer Mechanical Horse:

I have 2 others for Daemonhunters and Ordo Xenos in the works as well....

Hey Brother Captain Augustine what happened to your Inquisitors gun???????? looks like something got stuck in the barrel and caused a blockage or something lol

@ everyone else

very nice seems like there's a nice split between malleus an hereticus with the odd xenos thrown in for good measure

keep em coming I'm becoming inspired!

I would be especially intrigued if anyone had an Inquisitor with a Psycannon but any and all photos are great!

These are some better angle where you can kind of see the Psycannon

What I did was cut and dremel out her bolter, leaving her holding onto a bit of the grip. Then took a plasma pistol, green stuffed over the plasma chamber, and attached it to her arm with a green stuff wristguard and mounting.

what head is that for your inquisitor?

Which one? Well technically I guess I could answer to either. Both have heads molded to the model. Shaft is one of the standard inquisitor models with a hammer and pseduo psycannon conversion.

The midnight colored armor one is a sister superior with all of the fleurs dremeled off and a hammer and psycannon converted on. if you're talking about the gold coronet, I had trouble shaving the fleur down in a way that I liked, so I ended up removing the symbol itself but leaving the ridge in the helmet and then painting it like a coronet mounted onto the helmet in order to match the gold trim on the armor.

I guess you could technically say they're both Malleus, but I have used the female Inq as a hereticus Inq in order to take bolter/stake crossbow from time to time.
