Dust covered Daemon prince

Hello all,

After a recent move I found my dust covered models again! Being out of the hobby for like 5 years now, with only a occasional visit to the forum here, it began to itch again. Seeing all those unfinished models for my khorne army, I needed to to some work on them.

First off were my khorne terminators which are now displayed in the "throne of skulls" forum. And now another of my ambitious projects needs finishing!

I bought this daemon prince model when it first came out. I love converting and worked on it pretty hard for a while. Then it came to a abrupt halt!

Well this is how far I got 5 years ago:

As you can see, I added some extensive details to the model. Most of all the arms and head.

I tried to make the arms look alike, this meant increasing the size of the right arm. And due to the fact that my lord had lightning claws, he needed a pair in his afterlife too! You might not see it in the pictures, but i sculpted on details like chaos points

there is still a slight size difference, but its minimal and I was happy with the result

I did like the head but not the horns, so I resculpted the horns to look more like a ram head.

So I will start this weekend. I only need to find my green-stuff supply again, and hope its still workable....

Tell me what you think of my dated project!

My main concern are the wings, do you think I might need to shorten the base of them?? Other than that its only some small detail work on the chainmail Talbert. Then I can finally start painting. I will try to keep posting some pictures here.

Greetings,

Scion
