Monkeychunks
Ello, you may have seen my Doublewing models on this site (if not, why not). Well, having Bikes and Terminators is swell, but recently I've had a hankering to do a full Dark Angel army, including Predators, Scouts and of course, Tacticals. Well, I figured I could make them look special, and so I tried my hand at true-scaling them. Below is my concept model, built using Chaos Warrior legs, plasticard and a ton of green stuff. Thanks to Doghouse for your awesome tutorial, and providing the concept. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t60/mozzaman/Dark%20Angels/Angel-front.jpg http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t60/mozzaman/Dark%20Angels/Angel-rear.jpg And a group shot to show his size. http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t60/mozzaman/Dark%20Angels/Angel-size.jpg Whatcha reckon? I love the bigger profile, plus the extra armour makes him look nice and gothic. mitchell93
The gothic style looks great on dark angels, it is a very clean and smooth conversion. But the bum plate looks like it has been squished into his armour, i'd try and gs some soft armour around it. But overal very good! Monkeychunks
There's probably about 30minutes of work on this one, mostly because it was the first and I wasn't sure what I was doing. Painting is more like 2 and a bit hours. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159755-truescale-dark-angel-tactical/#findComment-1874583 Share on other sites
