The_Chaplain
looks like a standard dread with some minor tweaks: Â land speeder side plating on the upper part of the body. the hatch plate for the new vindicator ammo loader are the reinforced leg armor (mind if I yoink that idea tagsta, it's ace) 2 hunterkiller missiles on top. cyclone missile launchers from the plastic terminators make the launchers under the sarchophagus smoke launcher on top looks like the arm shield from the gw ven dread kit for the groin plate and it looks like 2 chainswords on the other close combat arm Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159790-ongoing-marines-malevolent-project-log/page/2/#findComment-1877421 Share on other sites

tagsta
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Warhammer40k/Marines%20Malevolent/IMG_1927Kopie.jpg  The pict capture shows the Astartes Strikeforce 'Damocles' engaged on Armageddon in 999.M41. The present Battle Company was split up into several combat groups. The capture shows a third of the Company's battle brothers commanded by Veteran Battle Brother Hector Thraxis, a Sternguard Sergeant that was shifted from the honorable First Company. Further the combat group was supported by two Land Speeder Scout Vehicles, operated by four of the Company's Assault Marines and two Whirlwind Batteries. The Whirlwind Batteries inflicted heavy casualties among the Ork Hordes engaged on Hive Acheron.  Well an here is an update finally  On Saturday I played a 1250pt game against orks.. I only lost 8 Marines in total, conquered 3 mission objectives and annihilated the entire ork army except for 3 killa kanz, 2 Lootaz, and about 17 Shoota Boyz.. One of the most glorious games in my career =) I took a few pictures that I would like to share with you http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Warhammer40k/Marines%20Malevolent/IMG_1919a.jpg This was my Army List:  Hector Thraxis (counts as Pedro Kantor) 10 man Tactical Squad + Rhino 10 man Tactical Squad + Rhino 10 man Tactical Squad 6 man Devastator Squad 2x Land Speeder 2x Whirlwind Battery  http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y68/Tagsta/Warhammer40k/Marines%20Malevolent/IMG1918b.jpg Close up on Thraxis (Keep in mind that he is still WIP... brother varen
Great work Tagsta. The symbols on the rhinos are they decals or freehand? They are vary well done. How did you paint the vehicles? That is where i'm having a problem. Do you paint them all yellow then paint the black? The checkard pattern on Thraxis's shoulder pad, is that a decal from the ork decal sheet?
