TheDarkApostle
Well gentlemen. You know how the saying goes. There's a time and place for all things in this world. And suffice to say, the time for my first WIP picture for the Librarium Challenge has come :D Here you have them; Mr Boar: And Mr Rhino: In their full WIP glory. If anyone remembers my last pics of these guys you might notice that their bases have been changed. The reason is simple, I want them to be more coherent with my Terminators. Another note of interest is that "Rhino"'s current position is not the final version. I'll change it a bit later when I've finished his base. All for now, TDA Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159799-lpc-word-bearer-obliterator-squad/ Share on other sites

The Angelus Sanctus
I'm quite fond of the "life" you have given the models versus their 'straight out the blister' look. TheDarkApostle
And he brings updates! I think I'm sure enough to say that Mr Boar now is ready for the painting table. TheDarkApostle
The Rhino guy pretty much done. A few things left to do. Mainly a little shield on the left shoulder pad and a loin cloth like the friend. And I also need to do his base also before I start painting them. A few minor things like extra trinkets and parchments and whatnot's need to be added as well. But that's all for now I think. TDA Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159799-lpc-word-bearer-obliterator-squad/#findComment-1898710 Share on other sites
daemonclaw
cool work there ,one thought though ,on rhino i dont know if it is camera angle but his legs look a little thin compared to the rest of the model.if it is the model and not my sight you could put a tabbard on it to obscure the leg to look like the other guy,or maybe i am seeing things and you can send me dribbling to the insanity corner  keep up the great work Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159799-lpc-word-bearer-obliterator-squad/#findComment-1898737 Share on other sites
Megalodon
They look great, but I do have to agree Rhinos legs/hips look a thin. I beefed both up a little with GS when I did mine. TheDarkApostle
Thank you guys. Â And now that you say it, his left leg does look a tad thin in the pic. Looking at the model though I think it's just the angle that messes up the perception a bit. TheDarkApostle
A sad sad day. It would appear my Tin Bitz pot finally is kicking the bucket. After many, many faithful years I think it's time to go get myself a new one. Wait, isn't Tin Bitz one of the discontinued colors? I can't remember. A quick walk to the local Warhammer store and we'll know if my worst fear is confirmed or not. I'll be back with an update later. The Angelus Sanctus
I really need to paint faster. TheDarkApostle
Whenever I do pick up that damned brush I start working so fast it's not believable :D Â The problem I have is that it takes so long time between every time I pick it up :P Â TDA Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159799-lpc-word-bearer-obliterator-squad/#findComment-1900093 Share on other sites

TheDarkApostle
Ok, I'm not entirely happy about the red but I'm to tired to do anything about it atm. I can't bother with making writing or anything on the parchment or adding the Legion symbol to the little shield right now either. So all in all I'm calling it on this fella. TDA Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/159799-lpc-word-bearer-obliterator-squad/#findComment-1900164 Share on other sites
