True-scaling the AOBR dreadnought

Hi all,

this is my WiP embiggened AOBR dreadnought. The AOBR dread is a nice model for that price range (especially if you buy it from an online bitz vendor), but it's undeniably squat and clumsy-looking.

My goals are to 1) lift the body from the legs like on the regular plastic dreadnought; 2) elongating the legs a bit so as to make it look more mobile; and 3) putting a bit of space between the body and the arms, to make it seem like the dreadnought can actually move its arms.

So far, I have separated the legs and the torso. The dread now sports a new steel spine. Pics of that to follow.

The spacers in the legs were made from bits of sprue. Next, the spacers will be getting greenstuff and plasticard to make them look more blocky.

I welcome your comments. :P

I dug out the area between the hips until it fit.
