Keptin
I can't find anywhere in the rules that states I can't start troops on board a transport that isn't dedicated (uses up a FO slot). For Instance, I want to get a Land Raider Crusader, which is a Heavy Choice in my BA Codex and then start my Terminators inside during deployment. Is this allowable? Democratus
You can't deploy units into a non-dedicated transport. The rules only allow deployment into dedicated transports. You can, however, start a unit in reserve inside a non-dedicated transport. You could also simply deploy a unit next to the transport and board it on the first turn. nighthawks
This is the case by RAW. most people will allow for deployment in the transports in practice, but they do not have to as it is not permitted by the rules.
