Landraider Capacity Clarification

Esteemed gentlemen,

I have a question regarding the new codex and Landraiders. In carrying terminators, it no longer says that they count as two models (at least, as i can see), so would my landraider be able to carry a full 10 terminator squad? I believe so, as there isn't anything that states otherwise in the codex, and even army builder lets me attach a landraider to a 10 terminator squad.

Sorry if this seems a bit basic of me, but I cannot locate any key verbiage to clear it up.

Thanks!

Oh, also, you can fit 6 Termies in a normal LR.

Kind of. Older codexes still list a transport cap of 10 models for a Land Raider, while the current edition Space Marine codex shows a 12 model cap. Which means you need to pay attention to which codex you are using.

The old codex had a 12 cap too. The codex with the 10 cap was Codex Chaos Marines and that got errata'd.

Well Codex DA and BA have a max of ten models for an LR, sixteen for an LRC.

So yes they do differ between codexes.

Cheers

While army builder is pretty accurate, don't trust it to be 100%.

Secondly, the dedicated transport restrictions due to squad size were mostly lifted. You can take a Razorback with a 10 man squad if you wanted. Just can't stick 10 men in it.

:tu: true, but that still means the max capacity of the transport still stands, until the squad is small enought to fit in it.
