Space Wolf Points and Weapon Choices

Hey guys, I was thinking of trying my marines as "counts as" Space Wolves but I'm a little curious about the point costs of some items and what weapons they can choose.

I was looking at the point costs, for Speeders and Preds specificly, and the different weapons they can take in the Space Wolves codex... but I'm wondering, with the new codex out and all, do I use the points straight from there as well as weapon upgrade costs? Or do I have to get my hands on an old version Space Marine codex and use the "patterns" and whatever weapons they include?

If the C:SW tells you to look in the C:SM for points costs or stats then you have to. But if not then the weapon stats in the C:SW takes precedence. for example the assault cannon is different in the C:SW.

*Points towards signature* Actually, we use the C:SM weapon stats. Unless of course you want us to have no Overheating plasma and AC's that jam. It's all in the FAQ's in the Space Wolf Section. Feel free to read them, they're mighty useful.

point taken <_<

As stated in codex: Space Wolves and clarified in the FAQ you get all of the vehicles and options from codex space marines. There is some debate over rhinos and razorbacks but the commonly held opinion and non-english FAQs show that you take the 35/40cost for them. The exceptions of wich are the Venerable Dreadnaught and Leman Russ Exterminator.

The only weapon that space wolves have that is not in C:SM is the frostblade... and it is described quite thuroughly in our codex. All other weapons use C:SM statlines.
