ChaplainDan
A project I've been working on for a little while. Getting this guy ready for the great devourer tournament in March, and replacing Tu'Shan (right in the first picture) as my gaming miniature, as his massive oversized cloak keeps falling off! Progress thus far: http://www.perfect-design.co.uk/uploads/hestan.png http://www.perfect-design.co.uk/uploads/hestan2.png http://www.perfect-design.co.uk/uploads/hestan3.jpg http://www.perfect-design.co.uk/uploads/hestan4.jpg http://www.perfect-design.co.uk/uploads/hestan5.jpg http://www.perfect-design.co.uk/uploads/hestan6.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/160938-vulkan-hestan-painting-blog/ Share on other sites
aekold
A nice start. I like the bone ridge on the back of the cloack. really adds the feeling that it was once a beast. ChaplainDan
Green is orkhide shade foundation, then painted snot green. Highlights are done with shades of snot green mixed with scorpion green, darkened patches snot green/dark angels green. Scales are dark angels green, highlighted with mixed of bleached bone, darkened with chaos black. Ryno
While I'm a fan of keeping the tech marine helmet, I love the modifications made to the chest plate. I might have to borrow that for my proposed chapter master (once I get around to.. uh.. doing something...) The paintwork is quite nice as well, nice work!
