VonDrakenstorm
Hail brother of the fang. I'm french and two days ago the french version of "Blood Claws" came out. Later I check for other books about Ragnar's tale and I found "Grey Hunter" which is not translated yet. But the Ragnar page in the SW codex say : "He joined the Wolf Guard directly from the Blood Claws - a nearly unheard event - after he allegedly slew the Ork Warboss Borzag Khan and his entire body guard in close combat." So there is my question, does anyone already read "Grey Hunter" and say if Ragnar become a Grey Hunter therefor if there is a mistake. Vash113
Blood Claw? Do you mean Space Wolf? That's the English name for the first book in the series, though the second book is titled Ragnar's Claw. Also while the 3rd book is titled Grey Hunter no Ragnar never did become a Grey Hunter. He lost the spear of russ and for that was exiled to the Wolf Blade where he was gifted his Frost Blade for saving the Celestarch of House Bellisarius and eventually recovered the Spear and for that was promoted to the ranks of the Wolf Guard when welcomed back to the Chapter and Berek Thunderfist's Great Company. The previous Champion of the Company Mikal Stenmark fell in the same battle as Berek and Ragnar was voted to replace Berek as the new Wolf Lord. Sorry to eddit your post but thats a bit much info for people that didnt read the books yet  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161023-space-wolves-books/#findComment-1890107 Share on other sites

kanaellars
In the English translations, the books are titled: Space Wolf Ragnar's Claw Grey Hunter Wolfblade Sons of Fenris Wolf's Honour Not sure about the Frech titles, but no, even though a book is titled Grey Hunter, he doesnt become one, although technically he doesnt join the wolf guard "straight" from the blood claws either. He kindof takes a sidestep. Anyway though, the books are great. read away!
