supercrazy05
A unit that has wings moves like Jump Infantry. That unit can decide to not use whatever is giving them the ability to jump. In this case it is a Deamon Prince with wings that is in a area terrain forest. He wants to turn off his wings and walk out. I argue that it says in the BRB that they take Dangerous terrain tests when moving through or entering or exiting the terrain. This is after the part that says the ability is optional. So my question is would he still need to take a DT test if he walks out? If so or if not so could u tell me where it is more specific then the brb. Legatus
A unit of jump infantry can decide to move just like regular infantry. In that case they also use the regular terrain rules. The rest of the description is for the specific jump infantry movement. Thantoes
No, you take dangerous terrain only he you choose to fly out of the terrain. If you walk out then yes, its normal 2d6 (or 3d6 if he is an IC) difficult terrain test Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161106-jump-infantry-and-dangerous-terrain-test/#findComment-1894056 Share on other sites

Ju'kosian
You only have to take dangerous terrain tests when you fly out or Land-in, difficult terrain.. If you choose to move like normal infantry, you just move like infantry does in difficult terrain (2d6.. or 3d6 if you have 'move trough cover") Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161106-jump-infantry-and-dangerous-terrain-test/#findComment-1895911 Share on other sites
