Kit bashing!

Bearboy

Recommended Posts

Ok I got a box of smurf scouts recently and built them up with 2 plasma pistols and a melta gun and 3 BP/CCW guys..

I also decided to build a wolf guard to go with them on most missions and this is where the kitbashing comes in. I used a running pair of bearserker legs*, space wolve back plate, front plate with a big pelt, beaky** with a top knot stolen from a chaos head, templar power fist and a combi melta made from a scouts bolter top and magazine and a meltagun from somewhere and on the inside of the gun it seemed really flat so I added a plate which either came from a ravenwing big box or templar upgrade sprue. Also a wolfgaurd shoulder pad and ragnar pad.

So in total this model hails from 7 different box sets. Whats your best?

*My brother, who has a job, is going crazy and buying lots of GW boxes because he can expect me to paint and assembly them and then play with them later. So thats why I have berserkers, chaos, templar and dark angels stuff

** I hate painting bare heads and the only heads I paint are every 4th Blood claw plus special characters who came with bare heads and I don't like beakers because they stand out so much so I never used them and they just piled up. But then when I got the scouts my brother said an idea would be to give them all beakies because they looked abit like a wolfs head and nose. So thats my excuse :)
