Vash113
I confess I don't understand the question. Are you asking what models to get, what paint to get, or what? :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161409-priming-and-painting-tomorrow/#findComment-1895017 Share on other sites
MaveriK
haha I'm with you Wolf Brother Vash.. either we had way to many drinks cause we don't understand him or.. he's had far to much to make sense. But what ever it is my answer would have to be Grey Hunters :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161409-priming-and-painting-tomorrow/#findComment-1895018 Share on other sites
Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
grey hunters, the answer to everything: have termites? unleash the grey hunters on the house. the termites wont be there after a few flamer blasts! liven up a party? grab some grey hunters and a keg and let the toasting begin! annoying chaos players? rapid fire with bolters and counter charge with power weapons! grey hunters, all the marine any wargamer really needs. wolf lord kieran Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161409-priming-and-painting-tomorrow/#findComment-1895039 Share on other sites
Chief213
This is my error guys. I have the models BUILT, and they are ready to be primed (which I have) I meant what paints should I pick up (I am painting and grey hunters) and what painting supplies Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161409-priming-and-painting-tomorrow/#findComment-1895042 Share on other sites
Jarl Kjaran Coldheart
i use a combo of shadow grey and chaos black for the armor, boltgun metals for weapons, blood red for the weapon casings, snakebite leather for pouches, bleached bone for teeth, graveyard earth for runes, and scorpion green for eyes... so thats my main set of colors...and you should pick up a few of whatever you choose your main armor to be, as sometimes i cant find shadow grey for a week or so due to GW's bungling of orders in my LGS. good luck, wolf lord kieran Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161409-priming-and-painting-tomorrow/#findComment-1895053 Share on other sites
Vash113
Well lets see I mostly use the following: Shadow Grey Blood Red Chaos Black Shining Gold Chainmail Silver Foundation Iyanden Darksun Skull White Snot Green Additionally: Bleached Bone Red Gore Dark Angels Green Snakebite Leather Washes are also fun, Badab Black is a nice simple one to use as an all purpose wash. Other than that brushes and a pallete obviously. deedark
http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc13/Deedarkwolf/grey-hunters.jpg Here a fairly quick and easy method - remember each wolf lord to their own colour scheme This is for Grey Hunters Prime Chaos Black Paint armour and all left shoulder pad Fenris Grey, line right pad leaving inside black - if you can leave the black showing between armour plates if not use a black wash to show recesses Use boltgun metal to paint the backpack exhausts, sword etc., Idrybrush any, insignia, grenades and bolter Pelts drybrush around 50/50 mix Codex Grey and Chaos Black then drybrush lightly with codex grey Highlight armour with Space Wolves Grey Paint in eyes mechrite red - paint a red fang on the right hand shoulder pad to signify hunters 6 colours - not bad Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161409-priming-and-painting-tomorrow/#findComment-1895193 Share on other sites
