Ironclad 2 CCWs?

I need some help with this one, i have seen a great deal of "ironclad" dreadnoughts with a pair of ccw's but i don't see anywhere in the rules where they can have 2 (except with a seismic hammer right?) so i feel like i'm missing something... am i?

(also i lent my codex to my dad so he could take a look at it so i don't have it for clarification right now)

Yeah, I've seen a few people with a non-hammer arm on both sides. They've been counting one as the seismic hammer though.

A seismic hammer is just a DCCW with special rules, so as long as your opponent is clear which is which (and you don't mind), then two arms that look like combat weapons is fine. I don't think there's an actual ironclad model out, which would be one reason there's no actual standard seismic hammer around.

Hope that helps

EDIT: Spelling

your right, sorta, the seismic hammer IS a DCCW. so yeah the way you get 2 DCCW is with 1 DCCW and a siesmic hammer, (or 1 DCCW and a chainfist). The DCCW+siesmic hammer is what the ironclad comes with default

The debate over whether the chainfist is a DCCW or not is raging over at http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...howtopic=160311

I used to be quite sure that it was but now I am not so sure myself.
