He looks a bit like mr potato head. (This is a copy of a thread I put in the HH section)) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161623-custodes-dreadnaught/ Share on other sites

Mertio23
I personally like it. It's beginning to look just like the pic you used for inspiration, and that gold looks real nice. Is there any chance we could have a close up on the dread, please? zarnak21
The main body and legs are made from flymo. I made it in stages cooking each part before adding the next. For example I made the feet - cooked, then the leg, cooked. The same for the body. I then added greenstuff where needed. The shoulder pads are made from plasticard and different sized piping. The elvow joint is a wheel from a leman russ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161623-custodes-dreadnaught/#findComment-1900028 Share on other sites

zarnak21
oops flymo is a lawn mower. LOL This is what I pulled from wiki: Fimo is a name for a brand of polymer clay made by Eberhard Faber. According to a 2002 U.S.PIRG report Fimo contains polyvinyl chloride (PVC) mixed with phthalate. Fimo is sold worldwide, and is a German company. Its main U.S. competitor is the American brand Sculpey. The material comes in many different colors; there are many finishes to choose from, and even a softener to use with it because it can be hard to work. It is used for making many things, including jewelry, accessories, and small trinkets. Once shaped, Fimo is baked in a standard or toaster oven for about 30 minutes at 110°C to harden it. Once baked, it can be cut, drilled, painted, sanded, and sliced thin.
