madscuzzy
In part yes... but I do have a lot of WIPs at the moment, so the others are still awaiting painting. Anyways, here is something I've been working on recently, mainly my version of Lysander. I figured that I wanted to make his hammer a bit more special so I opted to go for the double handed version. With that, however, representing the storm shield is a bit iffy, so I added an arm shield, and together with my shield pads (now on both sides for him), hopefully he makes is seem like he has a 3+ invul. Oh and I'll add a 'halo' as well later. Still need to detail him up... but yeah... http://scuzworks.com/SL40K/WIP/Lysander/IMG_1529.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161881-my-lysander/ Share on other sites

Heru
What thickness of plasticard do you use? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161881-my-lysander/#findComment-1902129 Share on other sites
madscuzzy
Depending. Most of the plastic card i use tend to be around 0.5-1mm. Sometimes I double up on either when I want them thicker. My plastic rod comes in fixed sizes which have a 1mm thick wall. I get mine from Evergreen. battle captain corpus
Scuzzy: Excellent work dude, very good. Ive always wanted to see a decent conversion of Darnath done helmed up as it were. The pose is good, great sense of movement (the bane of all SM modellers :) ). When it comes to painting, will you weather him to show him taking punishing fire and wading through it maybe? Seeign as he is double hard on toast....? Corpus Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/161881-my-lysander/#findComment-1936879 Share on other sites
