ragnar with 9 WG bodyguards all with TH and SS, 3 of them with a CML and 4 fenrisian wolves

in front of them 6 grey hunter in a TLLC razorback the grey hunters form the line in front of them , should the ork bikers get the charge, the razorback could help to give some cover, if you could fit in 2 more rhinos you could try to surround them with the rhinos, giving them no escape route should they run?

Thunder Hammer and stormshield terminators are not the answer. One of ours equiped in such a fashion is a good 10pts more than the C:SM versions.... for nothing. Thunderhammers dont add anything to the damage done to anything but the warboss... you might as well use a powerfist if your going to do it.

 

The cyclone missile launcher has been discussed, and is a decent idea.... though itll take time.

indeed the CML is a good answer, 10 of them (wgbg+TA+CML) runs 600 pts (the affor mentioned nob bikers run about 615 if they only take 2 power claws) will kill the bikers in 2 rounds of shooting, 20 shots, 13.33 hits, 11.11 wounds, 5.55 unsaved wounds (no feal no pain because 2x str).
its rather simple to kill those nobs, just like vash said, throw a vindicator at em with a sheild of bloodclaws, all in cover, the vindi will shoot the hell out of them once before they get off a charge, the bloodclaws will take the charge (a charge through cover on bikes) drag a few down with them, then when theres only a few left after that, hit em again with the vindi and laugh

So that's where the ES went off to... All I had was the Frost Bat to beat whelps. *grabs ES back, with the ale horn*

 

As for this Zomb-Thread, I suggest the purifying death that is the Grey Knights. Think about it, a Purgation Squad can field up to 4 Incinerators or Psycannons (correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I've read the GK rules). S6, AP4, Ignores Invunerable saves standard, then if you take Incinerators those ignore cover as well. And they can be Assault 3 up close or Heavy 3 far away. What more can one wish for in a squad?

 

That will take out the 4+ 'eavy armor save, the 5++ Cybork body save, and if using Incinerators, the 4+++ Fume save. All he'll have left is a 4++++ FNP save.

 

So, a squad of Knights with 2 Psycannons and 2 Incinerators is possibly your best bet at killing Nob Bikers.

 

Now the GK can come purge this unholy Zomb-Thread! :)
