New DIY chapter: What do you think

Wow being the B&C noob i am i first posted this topic in the tutorials section B)

But yeah shall we start again :P New user, long time lurker and first time poster. I've just started working on my first DIY chapter.

Have no name for them yet, but thought of the Purifiers the other day and liked the sound of it. What do ppl think? planning on having them be a Ultramarines successor chapter.

I have to say I wasnt too sure on looking at the painter image...but now seeing what youve got onto the models I rather like it. Clean and crisp from the pictures I see, yet with just the right amount of grit (that captain) to be pleasing to the eye. cant wait to see more...much less what you plan on for basing...
I really like the kit bash for the captain. The white seems to get lost in the model. Maybe if you painted the arm attached to the white quarter of the amour white as well, it might make it stand out a bit more. It could also be that the harnesses for the assault marines hides the white part too much. Keep at it!

GhostLegion: thx :) im still not sure about how im gonna do the baseing... might go for a gray gravel look to give it a kinda city feel, have a tactical squad i have to take pics of and upload. and they are getting along nicely

 

The Damned: i feel the same way, the white is not a visible as id like it to be... i might try doing the whole arm like you suggested. could be nice.
