Scout Sniper
I like it, looks good, just one thing though - the 'tache pointing up makes him look like a frenchman, shouldn't it look more mongol/asian-y? and ShinyRhino just said the exact same thing at the exact same time... SORCERY! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162175-khhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn/#findComment-1905593 Share on other sites
ShinyRhino
Not too shabby. The only part I don't like is the moustache. It makes himlook like the Frenchman from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Captain Malachi
My main problem is how is he getting in to battle No legs makes for a tough fight. Scout Sniper
He doesn't need legs - he's a SPACE MARINE! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162175-khhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn/#findComment-1905601 Share on other sites
jimbo1701
Not too shabby. The only part I don't like is the moustache. It makes himlook like the Frenchman from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. :D :D That was my thought too when the GS dried. That was about as thin as I could roll it (about 1/2mm) and it got a bit squished afterwards - I'll try and trim it a little or pull it off and try stretching a thin piece out to make it even thinner perhaps? He does indeed need some legs - waiting for biker to come throught the post any day now. Cheers all. UPDATE - caved in to the pressure - here he is on a different bike and with modifications to the face: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t286/jimbo1701/ba012.jpg http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t286/jimbo1701/ba013.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162175-khhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn/#findComment-1905642 Share on other sites
jester_prince
make his tash go down nice and long past his chin, thats how a mongol beard should be ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162175-khhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn/#findComment-1905754 Share on other sites
jimbo1701
It's actually quite long as is but is hard to see in the pic due to being swept back - meant to represent momentum same way that the purity seals and cloak are. Megalodon
You shouldn't have caved the original 'stash' was perfect. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162175-khhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn/#findComment-1905814 Share on other sites
Hubernator
Both aren't right. I would invision a thick long moustache, not a curly one like a true Englishman  Or a thin long thing like a dastardly villain :D Keep trying with it by all means, you'll get it right. jester_prince
The thing with modfeling you have to careful when dealing with pysics, in my own experiance, physics is somthing that effects models only when ti looks cool. SO while his cloak flys back his beard dosnt need to to the same extreme. LunchBox
I actually preferred the moustache the way it was...it helped convey motion...but what do I know! paulson games
If you kept the original stach' I would be demanding the addition of a monacle, bowler hat and a power weapon umbrella. That, or a kaizer style spikey helmet, as no frenchman can look that tough, he looks like he stepped out of WWI :) I think a Goatee, or Dr. Fu Man Chu look is the time honored classic mongel villan sterotype.
