Grey Mage
Apparently from the BL site: Tales of Heresy By Kyme & Priestley When Horus the Warmaster rebelled against the Emperor, the ensuing civil war nearly destroyed the Imperium. War raged across galaxy, pitting Astartes against their battle–brothers in a struggle where death was the only victor. This collection features stories of heroism and tragedy set during this turbulent time : Contents Dan Abnett – Blood Games Matt Farrer – After Desh’ea Mike Lee – Wolf at the Door Graham McNeill – The Last Church James Swallow – The Voice Anthony Reynolds – Scions of the Storm Gav Thorpe – Call of the Lion Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162247-new-books/ Share on other sites
Vash113
Could refere to the Luna Wolves I suppose but perhaps it's a Space Wolf Story, would be nice to see more Space Wolf stuff and not surprising if it includes a Space Wolf story as Prospero Burns is on the horizen. GunnarRedsun
honestly i think its cool to see a collection like this one. i really like short story collections like this, and am very excited about the prospect of reading more about the times of Russ. i wish we had more actual books...*sighs* Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162247-new-books/#findComment-1906572 Share on other sites

Vash113
I was also thinking Scions of the Storm could be.... Actually that sounds more like the White Scars, their symbol does feature a lightning bolt... GunnarRedsun
blood games was one i though, possibly in refernce to the blood feud between us and the 1k sons, that or possibly a reference to our wulfen brothers? Vash113
blood games was one i though, possibly in refernce to the blood feud between us and the 1k sons, that or possibly a reference to our wulfen brothers? Blood Games? Sounds more like World Eaters or Night Lords, though since After Desh'ea is about the World Eaters I'm betting Blood Games has to do with the Night Lords. Grey Mage
I thought bloodgames would be either world eaters or emperors children. Blood games is a bondage term after all. JEFF4i
My guesses? Dan Abnett – Blood Games Night Lords, I'm hoping. I like them crazy chaps. Who knows, with Abnett it'll probably be good though. Matt Farrer – After Desh’ea World Eaters, I'm thinkin. Mike Lee – Wolf at the Door Sons of Russ! Let's hope. Probably Wulfen or the like, given the name. Graham McNeill – The Last Church Could this possibly be a Sigismund tale? I don't know, just sprung in my mind, probably Terra or close though. James Swallow – The Voice No bloody clue here. I mean, it could be Sisters, could be Chaos... Anthony Reynolds – Scions of the Storm Word Bearers. C"mon, Heresy being the Storm, and them being the Scions. Gav Thorpe – Call of the Lion Pansies...er...dress...no...DARK ANGELS! I knew I'd remember their name. Long Fang
The heresy series so far has been great, not as much wolfyness as I'd like but its coming.... Wolf at the door - lead up to the burning of prospero? tbh I'm just glad that Thrope isn't writing about us after the whole 'wolf of fenris' incident /me goes off grumbling about chaos lies and Thorpey non-sense grrrr Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162247-new-books/#findComment-1907039 Share on other sites

WG Vrox
Other than the William King Series, what are the must reads that tell tales of our beloved Space Wolves? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162247-new-books/#findComment-1907047 Share on other sites

Vash113
Other than the William King Series, what are the must reads that tell tales of our beloved Space Wolves? There er... aren't any really, not substantial ones anyway. There's the Index Astartes if you can find it, a Short Story in Let the Galaxy Burn and another in a smaller Anthology and then there's a few Wolves in Battle for the Abyss but that wasn't too good. Prospero Burns is the first novel length story about the Space Wolves to be announced after the SW Series. Hrolleif
Well no matter what the stories are about I'll still read it. I'm a pretty big fan of Graham McNeill and Dan Abnett.
