panbient
so i just received a package in the mail including what i was hoping would be a cool imagifer mini based on the images i saw on the GW site. what i ended up with is a sister with a big freaking stick and no actual banner. is this accurate? from the impression i got from the site the blister came a helmeted sister with 1 of 2 banners. mine is a helmet-less sister with no banner. i do have another banner kicking around from an unfinished group of grave guardians but a banner with a bunch of bull horns and bones would only look mildly ridiculous hooked up to a SoB. so yeah, did i just get the unlucky with the random selection or am i looking at the always entertaining prospect of mail order returns.... any insight would be appreciated. ValourousHeart
what you received was the old banner bearer model. Back in the day, GW used to release stickers for banners and you wrapped that around the banner pole after painting the model. it is easy enough to fix... Option 1 - use windows paint to create a 1" x 1.25" banner (or double that so that it folds around the pole) put foil in the middle so that you can pose the flag. Option 2 - using the same size paper above... but paint it yourself. Option 3 - use bits off of the immolator sprue to make an icon. For an example of option 3 check out this Link **edit** fixed broken link Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162323-sob-imagifer-iconbanner-bearer/#findComment-1907642 Share on other sites
