Dread Wolf Master
The listing in C:SW says that both TDA and RA get the +2 save, what is the advantage of TDA besides the heavy weapon mobility advantage? Do we get an invulnerable save? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162414-runic-armor-and-tda/ Share on other sites
Long Fang
TDA gets a 5+ invul Other that its really just weapon options and the space they take up in transports. Grey Mage
TDA works just like it does in C:SM. You wont actually find rules for TDA in C:SW. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162414-runic-armor-and-tda/#findComment-1908751 Share on other sites
Vassakov
Runic Armour: Basically Power Armour, but a better save. Retains Power Armour Weapon Options, Sweeping advance rules, Can be Rhino/Razorback borne. TDA: For WGBL this (currently) gives more interesting weapon options. 5++ is also a bonus, but loses the ability to sweeping advance. Less easy to transport, limited to Land Raiders or Pods. For a rough comparison of points, try these two: WGBL: Runic Armour, Combi Plasma, Belt of Russ, Frostblade - 140pts WGBL: TDA, Runic Charm, Combi Plasma, Frostblade - 110pts Generally, TDA is more worth it that Runic Armour give the almost prohibitive cost. Vash113
Terminator Armor is IMO the best way to protect all HQ's that don't have the Belt of Russ or a Storm Shield as it at least grants them the 5+ invulnerable save and I hate HQs without an invulnerable save. Plus it's a lot cheaper than the Belt of Russ + Runic Armor option. Grey Mage
Runic armor is for a fancy model, or possibly on a bike. Possibly. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162414-runic-armor-and-tda/#findComment-1908802 Share on other sites

Wolf Guard Hengist
Dont forget TDA gives you the Relentless ability in case you want to go for the Assault Cannon WGBL.
