Captain Tezdal
Well bought couple of PAGK and a GKT and I must say, they are about the best models to paint Ive ever owned. Awesome detail, perfect color's....pics coming soon, also painted up a AOBR Dread as a Grey Knight dread since I dont play any non chaos marines, so far looking pretty good Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162533-my-first-grey-knights/ Share on other sites

Captain Tezdal
my grey knights, very much works in progress. Sorry about the late response, working alot lately, but working on these and priming 2 more PAGK I bought the other day, trying to do alot of catch up since being out of the hobby for 7 or so years. Kuchinawa
I like 'em! I got one little thing for ya. Well ok two Right now I suggest a Badab Black Wash. That'll pull out the detail you paid for by buying GK :P Also It'll insta shade your guys The next is something I tried with my Stern. Chaos Black Spray Over/dry brush Chainmail hit the whole thing with a 4:1 mix of Water and Blue Ink Touch up any funky areas with Chainmail Paint the rest normally That's just my 2 cents, but I really do liek your grey knights. I like the bit of red you thru in, and how your eyes are a nice bright blue. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162533-my-first-grey-knights/#findComment-1922567 Share on other sites
Captain Tezdal
thanks, Ive been out of mini's for a while so trying to get my painting skills back on par, the main thing bugging me right now is the purity seals, cant figure out how to get the right "parchment" look, any tips on that? Dzudzilla
Start with graveyard earth, highlight with bleached bone and skull white and then a light wash of gryphonne sepia...at least that's how i do it... Dilgar
Wow! Dejù, I had (as in I removed the paint) some painted GKT and they were painted in the exact paint scheme <_< The only differense would be that he had a white/red badge on em :P They looked good, as do yours! Not as I wanted to paint mine. There is something with a well painted GK Dreadnought that just makes me wanna play em ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162533-my-first-grey-knights/#findComment-1923640 Share on other sites
Captain Tezdal
so far did the PAGK with base red on the right shoulder to do some kind of squad markings not sure yet, and yea, the AOBR dread is pretty nice, hoping to get a forgeworld GK dread sometime in the near future Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/162533-my-first-grey-knights/#findComment-1924840 Share on other sites
